Artist Statement: This is part of a little series of Jesus growing up as a boy/young man. Luke 2:52 says that Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. I wanted to portray him as a teenager caring for a sheep, because he understood who he was, and he was learning to care for all things and becoming the true shepherd.
Artist Biography: For over 20 years, Cortney Lunt has been a full time mom and a part time artist. Family has always been her main priority, and continues to be so, but she is finding more time for her art as her family has grown up. Art, family, and spirituality have always been interconnected for her. She loves to paint anything that brings joy. She truly feels like the Lord has had a hand in her work and is very grateful for the opportunity to share her artwork with others.
