Artist Statement: Self-reflection can be an important part of self improvement. This figure does just that, pondering herself as herself, but also as who or what she has been and what she can and will be too. Peering into the pool, she seeks growth and connection, both within herself as well as in nature. Seeking the comforts of the earth to soothe and heal her, she prepares for her journey moving forward. Surrenders to the flow of earth and time, such as water would. Seeks peace, calm, healing, and knowledge to aid her growth.
Artist Bio: Brianna Beck is a painter and pyrographer who is deeply inspired by the divine feminine, motherhood, and nature. Her artwork often follows themes of rebirth, self-discovery, and inner peace, with a touch of whimsy.
While her paintings follow more fantastical themes, she hopes to one day bring awareness and understanding about local ecosystems and wildlife, mental health, and inspiration to create and heal.
