Artist Statement: When I need a gut check (whether spiritual or temporal), I turn to the Lord’s house, knowing He will provide me with the direction I need. Temples are refuges of strength and guidance, and my love for the work that takes place there keeps me steady. I’ve framed the Mt. Timpanogos temple within a strong triangular composition, reminiscent of the shape of a compass, to symbolize the strength and direction I’ve been granted there through my years of worship.
Artist Bio: Bryn Bluth is proudly based out of Ogden, Utah. She studied oil painting at BYU-Idaho before reporting to Corporate America to put her husband through school for several years. Now back to creating artwork full time, Bryn is drawn to painting that what is most important to her: her family, her ancestors, and the holy temple.
