Artist Statement: Becoming Her Mother is a visual love letter to the quiet, ordinary moments that will shape a new life, both hers and mine. As I await the arrival of my first daughter in February, I find myself dreaming of the tenderness, curiosity, and connection that will fill our days together. Each painting in this series captures an imagined future memory, a glimpse of what I hope for.
Artist Bio: Corinne Sonderegger is a Utah-based artist and art educator, who enjoys putting her life experiences on canvas and paper to capture some of the magic those moments can hold.
