Artist Bio: After graduating from college in art over 25 years ago, Cortney Lunt became a full time mom (eventually having four kids) and a part-time artist. Family was always her main priority, and continues to be so, but she is finding more time for her art as her family has grown up. She loves to paint anything that brings joy, with some of her favorite paintings being ones that help people remember that it’s important to take time to appreciate and enjoy the simple things in life. Years ago she avoided painting landscapes, but for the last several years she has been working hard to improve and feels like the best thing has been developing the habit of regularly painting from life. She has found that the more she learns, the more she realizes she doesn’t know, and she loves it all.
