Artist Bio: Julie Yuen Yim was born and raised in Hong Kong. She went to the States to receive her college education. She has a BA in Fine Art (painting) and an MEd in TESOL. Julie has always had a passion for art and being creative in her life.  She loves doing art and is always trying new media and topics. While she was going to school, she was trained in creating art using western techniques and media, such as watercolor, pastel, oil painting, acrylics and mixed media. She has shown in art exhibitions in Hong Kong, the Certain Women Art Show 2021, the Mosaic of Christ Art Show, Our Heavenly Parents Art Show, and in the 11th and 12th International Art Competition at the Church History Museum. She has won two Purchase Awards in the competitions. She has also received a few other awards in the exhibitions. Julie is proud of her Chinese cultural background and has been integrating her cultural background into creating art. So, after her college graduation, she continued to study Chinese art such as Chinese brush painting and Chinese paper cutting.

Artist Statement: We are children of Father in Heaven.  He really is our Father.  He has only one purpose in His own experience and for us His children:  that we return home to Him—pure and clean and ready to inherit all that He has.
