Artist Bio: Cindy Clark taught advanced placement art, drawing, and painting for 30 years in Alpine School District and was an adjunct professor for BYU and UVU. She has been recognized as an outstanding art educator for Utah and received the Arthur Watkins award as educator of the year, as well as the UAEA Lifetime Achievement Award. In addition, she has participated in many local and national juried shows, won several awards, and has had her artwork published in multiple books and publications. Currently, she is on the artist roster for the Utah Division of Arts and Museums, works with teachers in the Beverly Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program, supervises prospective art educators for BYU, and continually paints with wax. Her artworks have been purchased by the state of Utah and the Springville Museum of Art for their permanent collections.
