Artist Statement: My goal is to inspire feelings of compassion and kindness toward ourselves and others. I see my art as a dialogue between the unconscious and customary mind, embodied in both new spaces and familiar places. I hope my paintings speak of the ordinary days from a poetic and sacred perspective—one that emanates from a place where love and irony are intimately entwined and at peace.
Artist Bio: Elizabeth earned her MA in Studio Arts from The Florence Academy of Art in Italy after completing a BFA in Painting at Brigham Young University in Provo,Utah. Her practice centers on portraiture and figurative works and her art has been shown at the Springville Museum of Art, the 35th Annual Crèche Exhibit in Palo Alto, and Brigham Young University. In 2021, the Utah Division of Arts & Museums acquired her work for the State of Utah’s permanent art collection.
