This piece deals with impermanence. Painted on glass, Audrey Hepburn is presented as both fragile and yet preserved within timeless beauty. Her legacy has left an immortal print on the publics heart, and yet she was mortal. Though our time here is ephemeral, what mark might we leave in this world?
About the Artist:
Abigail Crow received her Bachelor of Fine Art degree from BYU. Having painted all her life, it has been a natural extension of herself for many years. She started painting on glass and clear acrylic glass in 2020, to further challenge her skills. She runs her business with her husband Justin, who makes her frames by hand.
