Artist Statement: Fierce, bold, brave women have always existed, but they have often been written out of history. Because the true stories have been erased, women often have to create and seek their heroines through fiction. This series of work, Fatally Feminine, is an homage to the stories we women hold to in the absence of the stories of our matriarchs.
