Artist Statement: Fitting is what I have strived for my whole life. As a tall woman I’ve never fit the average build or looks. These wants left me with negative feelings about myself and thoughts that I lacked value. All I ever wanted was to fit in their clothes, fit in their friend groups, and fit in their world.
