Artist Statement: In this painting, Mary meets our gaze with tenderness, inviting each of us to draw near, behold His light, and adore Him with personal devotion and wonder. The Christ Child—wrapped in swaddling cloth and lamb’s wool—rests in her arms, symbolizing His future as the Good Shepherd who gathers His people in love. This intimate and reverent moment draws us close to the Nativity—not as distant observers, but as participants in the miracle of His birth.

Artist Bio: Heather Graham is an artist whose work reflects a lifelong devotion to beauty, faith, and craftsmanship. From an early age, her parents’ example taught her to see God’s hand in the world around her, nurturing the sense of wonder that continues to inspire her work today.

Heather earned a BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University and began her career in design and advertising before turning to fine art. She received classical training at the Beaux-Arts Academy and later studied under J. Kirk Richards at the JKR Academy. Both programs offered valuable instruction that deepened her understanding of craft and helped shape the cohesive, expressive voice she carries into her work today. She continues to study and learn from mentors she admires, further strengthening her artistic foundation.

Heather has received awards from the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, and was awarded Best of Show at American Fork Steel Days. She and her husband Michael founded Masterworks Frames, serving artists, galleries, and temples internationally. Heather strives to create faith-filled works inspired by the beauty she sees in God’s creations.
