Artist Statement: In this scene, the light breaking through the clouds suggests a moment when clarity begins to return. It reflects the way God’s grace often reaches us: not all at once, but through steady moments that help us move forward. Inspiration often comes the same way—line upon line, precept upon precept (2 Nephi 28:30)—small steps that gradually build understanding and trust. At times, guidance comes quickly and unmistakably. At other times it arrives in brief rays of insight that touch the mind and heart. Guiding Light is a reminder that God’s presence is constant. Whether answers come swiftly or gradually, His grace brings direction, hope, and a sense of the next step on our path.

Artist Bio: Heather Graham is an artist whose work reflects a lifelong devotion to beauty, faith, and craftsmanship. From an early age, her parents’ example taught her to see God’s hand in the world around her, nurturing the sense of wonder that continues to inspire her work today.

Heather earned a BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University and began her career in design and advertising before turning to fine art. She received classical training at the Beaux-Arts Academy and later studied under J. Kirk Richards at the JKR Academy. Both programs offered valuable instruction that deepened her understanding of craft and helped shape the cohesive, expressive voice she carries into her work today. She continues to study and learn from mentors she admires, further strengthening her artistic foundation.

Heather has received awards from the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, and was awarded Best of Show at American Fork Steel Days. She and her husband Michael founded Masterworks Frames, serving artists, galleries, and temples internationally. Heather strives to create faith-filled works inspired by the beauty she sees in God’s creations.
