Artist Statement: A quiet moment of inward reflection, Remembrance speaks to the sacred work of holding onto what is good. The tulips—a symbol of growth—rest close to the heart, reflecting a quiet trust that what is tended with faith will continue to live and increase. In this way, remembrance becomes an act of belief: the belief that through Christ, what is nurtured can flourish and what is remembered can become a source of strength and purpose.
Artist Bio: Heather Graham is a contemporary oil painter whose work explores light, atmosphere, and the spiritual resonance of both landscape and figurative subjects. She earned a B.F.A. in Illustration from Brigham Young University and pursued classical training at the Beaux-Arts Academy before continuing her studies at the JKR Academy.
Her work has been recognized by the National Oil & Acrylic Painters’ Society and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, and she was awarded Best of Show at the American Fork Steel Days Art Show. Graham’s paintings balance careful observation with expressive mark-making, inviting quiet reflection on beauty, faith, and lived experience.
