Artist Statement: Swallows, long associated with return and fidelity, move across a vast sky as a solitary figure stands at the water’s edge. Return and Remember reflects on cycles—of seasons, of growth and renewal, and of the quiet rhythms that shape a life. The still water mirrors both earth and heaven, suggesting a space for contemplation—where one considers the journey, what has been learned, and what is yet to come. In this way, remembrance becomes a steadying act, grounding the present while giving direction to the path ahead.
