Artist Statement: These paintings are impressions of the sacred reverence that I felt while visiting shores of Normandy, France. From the profound mosaic on the ceiling of the memorial chapel at the American Cemetery, to the sublime cliffs, beaches, and surrounding fields, this place was incomprehensible, yet God’s presence felt so tangible in both beauty and sacrifice remembered there.
