Artist Statement: This painting is the beginning of a series of paintings done on painter’s palettes. I've always loved the look of palettes and wanted to incorporate them further into my work. This Christ portrait is one, and the palette provides unique textures.
Artist Bio: Jenna Conlin is an artist dedicated to making spiritual work. She is especially interested in depicting what it means to be a modern-day disciple of Christ. Since graduating from BYU with a degree in fine arts, she continues to paint in her studio, aspiring to grow spiritually and artistically.
