Artist Statement: This is an exploration in the discomfort and clarity that comes when what you want, what you’re offered, and what you receive are not always the same. To challenge your belief system is exhausting and uncomfortable. However, for me, I feel an overwhelming sense of clarity and sight after accepting the challenge and the truths it brought. Dialogue Journal has long supported introspection, exploration, and discovery of ideas and interpretations of a shared belief system that challenges how we think.
