Artist Statement: I was walking in the woods of the Pacific Northwest with my daughter, when I was inspired to create this painting. I loved the composition in red and green, I loved the tendrils in her hair. I loved the regal look on her face. I was overcome with love and joy for this being that I helped to create. Then seeing her surrounded by God’s creation, I could in return feel His love for us. It is truly remarkable that God allows us to take part in the creation of His children. There is no greater joy than that.
