Artist Bio: Keersten Jensen is an oil painter interested in the quiet weight of ordinary moments—the kind that are easily missed but difficult to forget. With a background in elementary and early childhood education, Keersten has spent decades teaching art to young students, an experience that continues to shape her sense of attention and clarity. Her paintings carry that influence—direct, observant, and unforced.
From 2018 to 2025, she studied as a full-time apprentice under Jeff Hein, developing a foundation in traditional methods. Working both outdoors and in the studio, she moves between landscape and figurative painting, with a growing focus on the lives of women in scripture and the quiet narratives of daily life.
