Artist Statement: For this sculpture, I delve into the profound exploration of human sexuality, particularly through the lens of the female experience. As a bisexual woman, I wanted to portray a vulnerable naked woman amidst a delicate border of flowers, symbolizing the tender and intricate nature of my journey towards self-discovery. The woman depicted is not merely an object of desire, but rather a representation of Eve and Heavenly Mother as I try to embrace the divine feminine within me while also paying tribute to Heavenly Mother as a nurturing and creative force, intimately connected to the cycles of life, love, and renewal.
