Artist Bio: Lauren Wood is an interdisciplinary artist who recently received her BFA in Studio Art from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. To guide her work thematically, she focuses on noticing the minutiae of everyday activities and creating dialogues from them. She explores these themes through layered paintings and photography. Lauren carefully crafts short poems to accompany her work, furthering the conversations proposed by her pieces and their context in the art world. She has published four short books filled with her art and poetry, recently celebrated her first solo exhibition, and participated in several group exhibitions in the Utah Valley.
