Artist Statement: It is said that infants do not yet know themselves as separate from their mother. They do not experience mother as she, but as their whole world—their environment, their sustaining. Like air, she is simply there, nurturing life without conscious thought. I breathe her in without effort. Her presence moves through my body like an atmosphere—sustaining, constant, unquestioned. There is no edge between us. Only warmth. Only being. Mother breathes in the life she just created. Joy rushes through her body, vibrating through every cell. She offers love without measure, and the baby receives it fully—trusting, open, whole. Mother and baby are one.
Artist Bio: McKenna Woolley is an intuitive abstract artist, mother, and creative guide whose work is deeply rooted in the concept of art as a vessel for healing. After facing the profound loss of her third child, McKenna turned to the healing arts as a path toward re-birthing her sense of self and purpose. Today, her practice serves as a “quiet meditation” of the hands, designed to reignite the inner light and discover the divinity within and around us.
Specializing in fine art, design, and intuitive abstract painting, McKenna’s work often explores themes of faith and nature through collections such as Simply Christ, Fields & Flowers, and A Mother’s Garden. Her creative studio extends beyond the canvas to include sound healing, art-expression experiences, and creative retreats intended to help others ignite their own creative sparks.
McKenna invites her audience into a felt experience of beauty and soul-work held within life’s cycles of birth, death, and rebirth.
