Artist Statement: There comes a time when the travails of life take their toll and utter exhaustion or despair smothers out every sound, every thought, every feeling. In that place of pain, there is also absolute stillness. There, a mote of light appears in the vast abyss of seemingly endless darkness. A glimmer from the one who is ever-watchful and truly eternal. Even if temporarily out of reach, hope is there.
Artist Bio: Melissa is a fine art watercolorist who lives in the desert farmland of Idaho with her husband. She explores themes of the human condition, both the beautiful and unresolved, through her artwork.
