Artist Bio: At 8 years old, Michael LeFevre dedicated his focus to the arts and began his studies under painter Jason Rich. His youth consisted of valuable critique and divine inspiration from the world around him in northern Utah. Growing up, football provided an outlet for a more competitive and physical activity that taught lessons of resilience, dedication, and what can happen when you push yourself. This competitive drive fueled Michael’s teenage years as he won the Western Horseman National Youth Art Competition in 2016, 2018, and 2020. This experience allowed him to meet several legendary artists and pushed himself belief from innocent ambition to genuine dedication.
When Michael turned 18, he served a two-year mission in Costa Rica for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Those years shaped Michael’s faith and relationship with his Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He filled four sketchbooks full of his friends’ portraits and the tropical landscapes of Central America.
Currently, Michael is studying under Michael Malm and pursuing his desires to paint God’s children.
