Artist Statement: With a recent move to an unexpected place, I’ve been thinking a lot on finding beauty where you are. Life can, and probably will, look different than what we had planned or envisioned for ourselves. With this move, I’ve recently been really inspired by the resilience and quiet beauty of the desert and how it invites visitors to discover hope, growth, and beauty exactly where they are.
Artist Bio: Morgan is a full-time artist and creative instructor. She is married to her high school sweetheart and a mom to three littles. She enjoys the outdoors and days spent painting in her sunny spare bedroom studio with little hands working alongside her.
An impressionistic oil painter with a deep love for color, Morgan creates work that explores light, love, and the quiet ways the divine meets us in everyday life. Inspired by the landscapes around her, she is drawn to the relationship between place, color, and light, inviting viewers to find beauty, hope, and belonging in the ordinary.
