Artist Statement: My dad and I visited Black Canyon of the Gunnison while we were driving from Massachusetts to Utah for my first year of college. I was so shocked by this view that I had a hard time keeping my eyes on the road, which resulted in being pulled over by a park ranger, but also in this painting.
Artist Bio: Noelyn Campbell is a student at Brigham Young University- Provo, studying Art and Entrepreneurship. She is originally from Massachusetts, and loves living in Utah Valley for college. Much of her work is inspired by the landscapes of New England, as well as the scenery from places she has traveled and explored out west. Her art is a reflection of her loves for the great outdoors and the God who created it all.
