Artist Statement: These works represent the acts of love God, neighbor, and self that LGBTQ+ people of faith have undertaken this last year in Provo. Some have offered up their bodies to create a showing of divine love for their neighbors, others have sought sanctification through affirming relationships, and others have appealed for healing from a divine power. These are all part of a limited run of prints are are the only ones of their kind within the run.

Artist Bio: Maddison Tenney is a Queer Latter-Day Saint, artist and activist. She grew up in Oregon and Hooper Utah. She is currently finishing a bachelors in English Literature at BYU with minors in Art and Global Women's Studies. She founded the RaYnbow Collective in 2021, and has since worked to advocate for LGBTQ+ BYU students on and off campus. Her work explores the liminality of religious identity as a queer person. In addition to painting and printing, she also works in ceramics, digital, and fiber arts.
