Artist Statement: It was a warm morning. I passed them on my way to my best friend’s house and again on my way home. Blooming so beautifully in spring, unaware of me while I'm aware of them. I wonder if they're still there, unaware of me while I miss and love them more and more each day.
Artist Bio: Olivia's oil paintings explore memory, nostalgia, and the idea of home as both a place and as a feeling. Drawing inspiration from her home country of Sweden, her work creates quiet, dreamlike portals—spaces of escapism that lives somewhere between recollection and imagination. Through moody colors and softened forms, the paintings reflect on longing, belonging, and the emotional landscapes of home we always carry with us.
