Artist Statement: When Adam and Eve ate the fruit, God’s first actions were swift and decisive. He sent Satan packing, clothed Adam and Eve, and commanded cherubim with flaming swords to surround the Tree of Life. It was now imperative that Adam and Eve not eat the fruit, or that Satan destroy the tree. This Tree which was part of the creation of the world, will still be standing at the end of the world when we will be invited to appropriately partake. I am grateful for this probation and these assurances. God’s grace.
