Artist Bio: Rosa Orr (born 1990) is an oil painter who was born and raised in Rovaniemi, Finland. She has a Bachelor’s of Art and Culture from a Finnish university, but began oil painting after she immigrated to the US to marry her husband, Baylen, and fell in love with the mountains and western landscapes. Inspired largely by European and Finnish impressionists and realists, Orr’s paintings of people, flowers and landscapes are traditional in theme but painted in a very contemporary approach.
