Artist Statement: I have been to Paris twice. This painting is a snapshot of my view from inside the Musee d'Orsay. Classic Paris: rooftops, tiny pedestrians, Eiffel Tower. I was on a trip with fellow artists Megan Trueblood, Claire Tollstrup, and Maryfrances Carter. Paris is always a good idea. And it IS the City of Love.
