Artist Statement: I have always felt it right that nature is associated with the feminine. Whenever I've needed a dose of peace or clarity of mind, I tuck myself into the folds of the mountains or defect into the vastness of the desert and I am washed to wholeness by Mother Nature. She is both purposeful volatility and tranquility. What lessons are needed, she provides. Everything in the micro is found in the macro. She is the ultimate mirror and teacher. I've solved so many dilemmas and tough problems while outdoors. She's the balm to heal and the hard hand of encouraging strength and drive to go deeper. If I need to find God, I go to her. Mother Nature is God in the physical and we are part of that tapestry.
