Artist Statement: My dreamscapes are small, geometric, imagined landscapes I return to again and again. They balance the natural fluidity of watercolor with inked linework shaping distant mountains and quiet shores. The process is meditative, and because this motif threads through my work, presenting them in embroidery hoops felt like an homage to that continuity.
Artist Bio: Sarah Jane Timmons pulls on heartstrings through her watercolor and ink artwork. As a Philadelphia-based graphic designer and studio artist, she draws from the city and the trails and parks that surround it. Her work features whimsical nature and animal illustrations.
