Artist Statement: This villa is in the countryside an hour outside Florence, Italy. A villa built for a woman in the 1100s who didnt want to be married, but wanted to be herself and focus on herself. I gained so much from looking through her windows.
Artist Bio: I'm a self-taught artist of five years focused on creating memories and expressions. My landscape paintings all come from my own reference photos, taken from my adventures when I felt awe, love, gratitude, etc.
I primarily use secondhand material in my art; canvases and frames for paintings and textiles for my block prints. Creating intentionally and sustainably is very important to my work.
