Artist Bio: Emily attended the University of Utah and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts Painting and Drawing. After graduating, she continued to make art and taught at the Kimball Art Center in Park City, Utah for several years. In 2018 Emily became a mother. All at once my world changed. She learned how it feels to love someone more than herself. She had her son in 2021 and was hit hard with hormones and grief which resulted in a very dark year. She learned how to hold deep grief and loss and bright light, love, and joy all at the same time. Emily creates so she can remember exactly how it feels in this season. She paints so she can remember.
