Artist Statement: We are taught that “every living thing shall fill the measure of its creation.” This makes me ponder on how God cares about the tiniest little bug or plant that I might encounter as I hike up a canyon or the random person I might walk by on the street. God cares about and is aware of each and every living thing and created each of those things with a purpose and plan. So with this in mind I created a solitary unknown silhouette of a person. Although we might not know who this person is, God does. Just like we would recognize the silhouette of a friend, we are discernible to God because he knows us. Not only does he know us but we were created with a purpose and a plan, we have meaning to Him.
