Artist Bio: Julie has always been a creator. After earning a BA from Brigham Young University, she has continued to create for over 40 years.
As an artist, Julie considers herself a storyteller, particularly when portraying individuals. Each piece she creates begins with a portrait, serving as the foundation for layers of her mono-prints, fabrics, and other embellishments that weave intricate narratives. Through collage techniques, Julie breathes life into her work, infusing it with the essence of both the artist and the subject. Every portrait becomes an adventurous exploration, delving into the unique qualities and characteristics of each individual.
