Artist Statement: Streams compel and beckon us to drift not through but with. Motion and exploration dissolve with us unfolding gold. Fragments grow as eyes dart and discover more. Upon discovering, glimpses obscure, yet in obscuring clarity grows. Looking we lose but in losing we find.
Artist Bio: Raised in Wyoming, I studied art at the University of Wyoming and Brigham Young University, receiving a BFA in illustration from BYU. I have illustrated for a variety of local and national clients and my oil paintings can be found in various collections across the nation. Ultimately I'm a self-taught artist through countless hours of study and research as well as internships and study with various artists. Currently I call Utah home.
