Artist Statement: It comes in bits—a little here and a little there. At one time you had it, but memories are elusive. It’s a memory…or is it a dream? — the two melt together, jumping, swirling in and out of focus. A little here and there, but never all of it. Splashes of color and clarity are shadowed by the haze. It’s right there but you can’t quite put all of the pieces together.
Artist Bio: Raised in Wyoming, I studied art at the University of Wyoming and Brigham Young University, receiving a BFA in illustration from BYU. I have illustrated for a variety of local and national clients and my oil paintings can be found in various collections across the nation. Ultimately I'm a self-taught artist through countless hours of study and research as well as internships and study with various artists. Currently I call Utah home.
