Artist: Clinton Whiting
Bio: Clinton Whiting received his bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Utah, and a Masters of Fine Arts from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, in Rome, Italy. His recent exhibits include “The Great Remediation, New Works by Clinton Whiting” at the Raymond Gallery, BYU Library (2024); Landscape in the Background, Solo Exhibit BDAC UT (2024); 99th Annual Spring Salon, Springville Museum of Art, UT (2023); Our Valley Speaks, Granary Arts, Ephraim, UT (2021); Abiding Embrace, Rome, Italy (2019).
Clinton Whiting is a multi-disciplinary artist, influenced by conceptual and modernist practices. His works describe the intangible connection people share, through representation of the human figure, and the materiality of the paint. Clinton’s work has been exhibited in solo and group shows across the United States and Internationally. He lives and works in Holladay Utah.
