Artist: Valerie Boyes
Title: The Road to Golden
Medium: Oil on panel
Dimensions: 6 x 9 inches
Price: $285
Artist Statement: I painted this after visiting a friend's farm in Midway, Utah. Fires in the surrounding areas had left a soft haze of smoke in the air, and as the sun began to set, the combination of the smoky sky and golden hour made everything feel magical. The fields were glowing, the mountains softened into the distance, and even the dusty road seemed to lead to a quieter, more peaceful place.
