About the Artwork:
My work is a celebration of energy expressed through color and movement. When I paint I let go of any preconceptions of what the piece should be and using a combination of techniques, including manual blowing, I allow the natural flow of the paint to guide me to what it wants to become. While I may have chosen colors inspired by something specific the subject matter is very subjective. Each viewer may see or feel something different from the same piece. This reaction to the energy within the painting, the same energy that connects all of us, is what I strive to convey with my work.
About the Artist:
Cassie is a self-taught abstract artist from Layton, Utah. Most recognized for her work with fluid acrylics and her entertaining art process videos on social media @cassiedee.art. She is just emerging onto the local art scene here in Utah and is excited to share her energetic and colorful pieces with the community.
