Artist: Katie Liddiard
Artist Bio: Katie J. Liddiard, born in Northern Utah in 1984, has been devoted to drawing and painting since childhood. After graduating from Viewmont High School in 2003, she attended Snow College, but her artistic path shifted when she discovered the classical training offered by traditional art academies.
In 2006, she traveled to Florence, Italy, to study at the Florence Academy of Art, immersing herself in the techniques of the old masters. Financial limitations brought her back to Utah, where she continued her studies at the Masters Academy of Art in Provo. She graduated in 2014 and later served as the academy’s Assistant Director until 2018, when she chose to focus full-time on her own work.
Now based in Salem, Utah, Katie works from her home studio while raising her two children. Her paintings reflect a deep appreciation for beauty, stillness, and the natural world, with a style rooted in classical tradition and inspired by light, harmony, and the everyday.
