Re-Reading, Re-Making: Art After Dialogue

For six decades, Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought has invited writers, scholars, and artists to explore the questions, complexities, and possibilities of Mormon life and thought. For this exhibition, we asked to look back through Dialogue’s history and its ideas and art that have animated the journal across generations. The resulting works are not illustrations of Dialogue’s past, but creative responses to it: interpretations, conversations, echoes, and departures. Together, these works invite us to consider how ideas move across time and disciplines, how scholarship and art engage in conversation, and how the questions that have mattered to Mormon communities continue to generate new forms of seeing and imagining.
